About Us

Rachel has spent the last fourteen years in the food & beverage industry. She has worked in a wide variety of different roles ranging from analytical chemistry, quality control, and product development for flavor companies and contract manufacturers. For the last nine years, she has focused on developing products for the natural and organic beverage industry with a focus on ready-to-mix and ready-to-drink beverages and supplements.

Rachel has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Valparaiso University and a Masters in Food Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is a Certified Food Scientist through the Institute of Food Technologists, holds a Certification in Business Administration from the University of Illinois—Chicago, and is a current member of the Plant Based Food Association and the Institute of Food Technologists and a former member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Functional Beverage Product Development Expertise

Rachel loves being able to share her extensive knowledge about functional ingredients and the natural, organic beverage industry to others.  She founded Drink Me Taste Solutions on the belief that great tasting functional, healthy beverages should should be easy to bring to the consumer. She believes that education to the consumer and industry is key to developing products that provide real benefits to the consumer.

Throughout her career Rachel has supported budding entrepreneurs and others within the beverage industry through The Hatchery in Chicago and has been quoted in Nutritional Outlook, Natural Products Insider, Nutraceutical World, and The Well.
